An overgrown area in Alderley Edge cemetery has been transformed into a special place where the bereaved can remember their loved ones.Cllr Lesley Smetham, Deputy Chairman said:“We know that the loss of a loved one is very sad and a difficult time for families. It is hoped that this new memorial garden will not only give solace and comfort to people who have lost someone but that it will also give them strength for the future.”Cllr Penny Butterill, Director added:

“This memorial garden was designed to focus on the celebration of life as much as the mourning of death we hope that family and friends will find comfort and peace here, this is a special place in which to remember their loved ones.”

Orbitas staff have worked closely with the Community Payback team and Granart memorials in developing this area into something meaningful.
